New Christmas Store

With the coming of the holiday season, I have opened a new store called ChristmasVintage. I'm having great fun decorating all the products with vintage images of all kinds from angels to snow scenes and, especially, Santa Claus. The images below give you an idea of some of the products available. Check them out and then go to the store to see what else you can find. A very happy ( if a little early ) holiday season to all !

Vintage Beauty

Beautiful vintage photograph of a lovely young woman. The photo is mostly black and white but a tinge of warmth has been added and the icon suggests that it originated in France.

" Dumpy Proverbs "

My quest for beautiful old illustrations continues with these from "Dumpy Proverbs" by Honor C. Appleton. The book was published in 1903 in London by Grant Richards of 48 Leicester Square and printed by Sir Joseph Causton and Sons. The book has no text other than the proverbs printed on pages facing the illustrations.

All these and other proverb illustrations can be found in my new store IllustrationStore.
